Here are some bedwetting books I've found really helpful as a mom:

My review: This one is really logical, informative, and straighforward. It talks about all the common causes and remedies in a way kids can understand. Older kids can read it alone - you'll have to read it to younger children, but they'll enjoy the adventures of Bladder Man!

Waking Up Dry: A Guide to Help Children Overcome Bedwetting

Waking Up Dry: A Guide to Help Children Overcome Bedwetting

Written in a child-friendly tone that mirrors a one-on-one conversation with Dr. Bennett, this self-help guide is designed to assist children in conquering bedwetting. Although appropriate for parents and caregivers, the conversations and activities are meant for children to read alone or with a parent. Full of practical tips and a specific program for overcoming this embarrassing condition, this guide covers topics such as waking-up practice, bedwetting alarms, and how to handle sleepovers. Cartoon characters Bladder Man (a superhero) and Nephron put a humorous spin on the subject and help explain the causes of bedwetting, and numerous examples of others that share the condition show children that they are not the only ones who are affected. Simple activities keep children engaged and help them grasp how their urinary system functions, while Q&A sections provide more detailed information for parents.

My review: This book addresses lots of myths about bedwetting. Helps you set up a plan to help your child stay dry, using techniques that have a good success rate.

Do Little Mermaids Wet Their Beds? (Concept Books (Albert Whitman))

My review: This is so cute. Ceceliea's off to school, where she's learning to do all kinds of big kid stuff. But she's upset about still wetting her bed. Plastic sheets and all, she's got the whole routine down! She has a beautiful dream about a little mermaid who's got the same problem.

My review: Great for reinforcing your child's self-worth. It's a story about Sammy, a little elephant who can't hold his water. His buddy Mr. Camel, teaches him how to hold it until the right time. Sammy ends up using his new skill when it counts.

Sammy the Elephant and Mr. Camel: A Story to Help Children Overcome Bedwetting

Sammy is a little circus elephant who keeps spilling buckets of water. When a crisis occurs, Sammy saves the day. He emerges with a new sense of self-appreciation. A delightful story that children and their parents can appreciate to help children overcome the problem of bedwetting as they learn about control and self-appreciation.

My review: There's a lot of stuff we can try with our kids during the day that might help them stay dry at night. This book's really good about describing how to help your child with bladder exercises, diet, etc. that can really help.
